    Vermont Avenue Traffic Advisory

    Road Closure: Vermont Avenue, NW

    The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) would like to advise motorists that Vermont Avenue, NW, between H and I Streets, is closed today to vehicular traffic. DDOT has issued a public space permit for a farmer’s market and that block of Vermont will be closed until approximately 8 pm this evening. Motorists can use alternate routes to detour around the closure including 16th, 15th and 14th Streets.

    Subsequent farmer’s markets are scheduled to be held each Thursday afternoon through October 29, and on those days the 800 block of Vermont Avenue will be closed from 1 pm to 8 pm.
